We read about the first Christmas. The children love playing with the Fisher Price Nativity. They rearrange the pieces and retell the story. After reading about the first Christmas, we visited a local church hosting a Bethlehem Marketplace. Here the kids experience crafts and food from Bethlehem. I know this is a picture heavy post. They twisted yarn together to make Rope from Jordan, Made bread, leather stamped items, crushed spices, dipped candles, made clay pots. A visit from King Herod & the 3 wise men (followed by the live nativity)
