This beautiful story reminded us how only God knows our purpose in life. Our job is to be the best we can be. We talked about things all the wonderful ways we have been blessed as a family. We talked about how some children don't have enough food to eat. Each child created their own menu to shop for non perishable food. The both went with a Spaghetti Dinner (noodles, sauce, fruit, veggies, dessert) Then we shopped for the food. The kids had such a great time deciding whether someone would prefer peaches or pineapple with a spaghetti dinner. The kids came with me to drop the food off at the food pantry.
This activity from start to finish was the best $20.00 I have spent in a long while :)
